BSTS – All Stars
Four days, four events, four-player teams competing for medals and the final crown.
Standard 1v1

Modifier Mania
A 1v1 tourney with the main gimmick being that the map pools will consist of mostly maps with modifier(s).
Mystery Acc Royale
Wheelspins decide the map and target accuracy. The furthest away will get eliminated.
Poodle Parade
Map pools consisting of only Poodle maps.
About All Stars
The concept of BSTS All Stars is as a sort of celebration for the 4-year anniversary of BSTS. BSTS All Stars is a team based tournament consisting of 4 different events. The teams will consist of 4 players, and each player can only play in 1 out of the 4 events.
In each of these events players can earn medals for their team (the higher place they get the more medals they gain). The team with the most medals after the 4 days will be crowned the victor of the BSTS All Stars tournament.
The 4 different events are sub-tournaments. These sub-tournaments are: Standard 1v1, Modifier Mania, Mystery Acc Royale, and Poodle Parade. The 4 events will be held within 4 days, 2 weekends.
Rules
Structure
BSTS All Stars is made up of four sub-tournaments called events. Each event stands on its own, and players earn medals for their team by competing in their assigned event.
There is a single TA tournament named BSTS All Stars, with four qualifier events beneath it. Every player must play in the qualifier for the event they have been assigned to. At the end of qualifiers, each team member's weighted score is averaged and then summed to produce the team weighted score that determines which teams advance.
Qualifiers
Qualifier scoring uses a weighted formula based on both raw score and leaderboard placement.
weighted = 0.25 × (playerScore / bestScore) + 0.75 × (1 − ((playerPositionOnLeaderboard − 0.5) / totalPlayers))
That means 25% of the score comes from how close a player is to the top raw score, while 75% comes from where they place relative to everyone else on the leaderboard.
Edge cases
- The #1 score on any map always receives a weighted score of 1.00.
- If only a single score exists on a map, it receives a weighted score of 0.50.
Provisional
Match specific rules will be announced at a later date. These rules will include(but may not be limited to):
- Exact medal winnings
- Picks and bans flow specifications
- Time limits(max time to decide a replay, etc)
Match & Ethic
- Be in the waiting room voice channel at least 5 minutes before your match is scheduled to start. If there are delays, coordinators will inform you.
- When your match starts, a coordinator will drag you into a match voice channel for picks and bans. Once those are done, players will be asked to join their TA room.
- If your match is streamed, keep your mic and chat muted on stream at all times.
- After the match ends, the coordinator will enter the scores into the bracket and let you know your next opponent if it is known.
- Each player may call one replay and one break per match. Double replays are not allowed. Breaks last 3 minutes, except in mystery acc royale finals.
Players Not Showing Up
If a player does not show up, their opponent gains one point every 5 minutes until the player joins TA. In this case, not showing up means not being in the waiting room at the exact scheduled time of the match.
Exceptions can be made if the player who arrived on time and both coordinators agree.
Technical Issues
- Any malfunction not directly caused by TA during or before the tournament is the responsibility of the players.
- If an issue happens during the map, the score TA gives will be used and the winner will be decided from it.
- The coordinator and players whose games work can agree to make an exception, but a free replay will not be given in any situation.
- If the issue is caused by TA itself, coordinators or organisers may allow free replays and lenience.
During Matches
Once the coordinator asks the players to join TA, they must not leave TA until the match is finished unless explicitly instructed to do so.
Other Rules
- Players must use a PCVR platform. PSVR and Native Quest players cannot participate.
- Players must not be banned from Scoresaber or Beatleader.
- These mods are not allowed: any score disabling mod, any score modifying mod, NoteCutGuide, IntroSkip / OutroSkip, and Old Notes.
- Arcs in V3 maps cannot be modified in any way by using mods.
- In maps played with Disappearing Arrows or Ghost Notes, custom notes are not allowed because those modifiers do not work with them. The Custom Notes mod is otherwise allowed.
- Players must stream their matches to Twitch in at least 480p 30fps, with 720p 30fps or higher recommended.
- Coordinator decisions must always be respected. If a call feels unfair, contact the organisers immediately.
- All staff decisions are final and must not be argued with. Tournament organisers may add new rules if a situation is not covered here, and those rules apply to future matches as well as past matches after players are notified.
Leniency will be shown for players using outroskip or for the introskip/outroskip UI appearing, but the score will be invalidated when used.
